![]() ![]() It’s worth a click just for the preview pages. It’s been 70 years, and it’s been wonderful, but this is the last one. And it doesn’t matter whichever Batman you love, whether that is Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns and Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight, or the Batman TV show or even the various, glorious animated series. So what I was trying to say is that it honestly doesn’t matter if it is in or out of continuity. What should it be? And I wanted to play very, very fair with the reader. Last fall, Netflix renewed The Sandman for a second season though the new episodes of the hit series based on the ambitious DC comic of the same name may not actually be called Season 2. What I wanted to do was write the last Batman story. The result was “Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?” Gaiman’s take on Batman is bound to be interesting: Back then, they had Alan Moore do the honors. Much as they did with Superman in the 1980’s.
